Sekhem Heka (Sekhem comes from the Ancient Egyptian word literally meaning ‘power’ or ‘might’). The term originally applied to gods and goddesses and was often part of the titles of pharaohs and queens. Sekhem, in its modern sense, is a form of healing that derives from a system called Seichim, which itself is partly a derivative of Reiki. It is a form of healing combining Egyptian "magic" with Reiki and Seichim. By incorporating ritual and visualisation into a progressive journey through the seven energy centres of the body (Chakras). Sekhem Heka can be practiced by those who are already attuned to an energy healing modality, as well as those who are simply interested in the magical aspects of the system. Sekhem Heka is designed to help the practitioner work upon self-evolution and self-knowledge. Each of the seven tiers/levels focuses upon a particular Ancient Egyptian god or goddess, including practical exercises and rites to help you. Sekhem Heka is a system that incorporates energy healing as well as a structured series of rituals and path workings, focusing upon the energy centres of the body and associated Egyptian god forms.
